Easy three-thousand-metre mountains in the southern Ortler range

Large, enormous glacier fields and beautiful peaks around the Forni glacier await us on the southern slope of the Ortler massive. The excellent Italian cuisine and exquisite wines offered at the lodges make this week become a culinary adventure too.

This week’s highlight surely is the passage from Zufallspitze to Cevedale.

Sun: meeting point in Sulden at the Haus der Berge, overnight stay at the hotel in Sulden
Mon: Suldenspitze 3376m and descent to the Pizzinihütte 2706m
Tue: Monte Pasquale 3553m and descent to the Brancahütte 2493m
Wed: Punta San Matteo 3678m – Brancahütte
Thu: Palon de la Mare 3703m and hike to Rif. Cevedale 2608m
Fri: passage Zufallspitze – Cevedale 3769m and descent to the Schaubachhütte
Sat: departure
