Ortler week 3905 m

Weekly course with ascent of the highest peak of South-Tirol.

The “Ortler week” has been organized for many years now with great success. In June we begin the new summer season with you. Together with you in autumn we let the mountain summer die away.

Also this year we have again prepared some surprises for you. Curious, what is going to expect you????

Program:
Sat: Welcome and presentation of program
Sun: Ascent to the climbing garden K2 and introduction of the basics in rock climbing (climbing technique, abseiling)
Mon: Hike to Hinteren Schöneck 3143m
Tue: Day off. In the evening screening of the film “200 years since the first Ortler ascent”
Wed: Ascent across the Sulden glacier to the Sulden peak 3376m
Thu: Ascent to the Payerhütte 3029m
Fri: Ascent to the Ortler 3905m, in the evening we join the mountain guides at their table for the week’s overview
Services included: rental equipment, 5 guided tours,

Requierements: good physical condition and sure footing, ascents max. 1200hm (hiking tour) – ca. 3,5-4,5 hours

During this weekly course we teach you all the mountaineering and high altitude techniques needed as basic preparation.
