Oberettes lodge

Our AVS (South-Tyrolean Alpine Association)-lodge is located in the hidden Matscher valley in the upper Vinschgau and offers an attractive ascent to the Weißkugel 3.739 m, the second highest peak of the Ötztaler Alps. Obviously there are more glacier- and mountaineering tours possible in the secluded Matscher mountains. The refuge’s own climbing garden is ideal for training and to warm up. Our lodge offers accommodation in large bedrooms and bright dormitories and a pleasant stay in the wood paneled lounges where you can enjoy genuine, regional fare.

We are open from mid June till the beginning of October and you can reach us from the end of the Matscher valley (parking below the hotel Glieshof).
